Public Input

Beginning in November 2009, we began collecting public input on general issues pertaining to the Campus Master Plan. Three public forums were held in November and a student forum was held in January with great success. Visit the Plan Update page to learn more about these forums and to view feedback received.

If you were unable to attend one of the public forums, but would like to provide feedback, please take a moment to answer a few questions about the Campus Master Plan.

Survey - General Questions about the Campus Master Plan

The Campus Master Plan lays out a long-range plan for the physical development of campus in size, form, character, image and environment. It includes proposed new building growth while at the same time addressing renewal of buildings and defining outdoor spaces that unify all functions of the University.

Building upon the success of The Master Plan 2000-2020: Achieving Distinctiveness and Excellence in Form, Function, and Design, the University is currently involved in updating the Plan with an anticipated completion by February 2011. During the last decade, much has been accomplished in implementing The Master Plan and a number of factors have changed and point to the need for a new plan to guide the future development of the campus.

Please continue to visit this web site during the update process to The Master Plan as many information items will be posted as well as announcements for participation in the process. It is of high importance that this process embody the efforts of all University constituents - faculty, staff, students, alumni, annuitants - as well as the local communities.
